We were happy to see a Philz open up in Torrance and we frequent the place. Our family likes their coffee and it's probably one of the only shops we may get coffee from even though we have excellent espresso at home. I believe Philz is pour over, their cream makes a big difference and you can control the sweetness. I usually get the Philtered Soul Large Ice, less Ice, medium cream, light sweet.

Coming here on April 16, 2026 for the very first time with my friend and I highly recommended place with great customer service with yummy coffee that will make you smile make you happy and most definitely make you return with customers walking out the door, smiling, and us as well. Totally satisfied of their coffee with much love. Highly highly recommended place will be back our new spot our new location and the best of love of coffee.☕️♥️☕️♥️☕️♥️☕️♥️☕️♥️

Coffee was subpar and the hot latte wasn’t hot at all, room temperature and mid flavor. I did ask for the coffee to be heated up and the kind ladies remade me one that was much hotter. Free WiFi, good clean atmosphere and good service. Seating is limited inside and filled up very quickly. Other customers used up chairs to put their bags on leaving less sitting room for other customers. Also put their bare feet up on the furniture. Not the businesses fault, but I found it quite rude with how many people were there.

Enjoyable coffee shop that makes your drink fresh and asks for any modifications immediately in case something is not up to your standard. This is a slower and chill spot so you can enjoy your time in the shop. It does get super busy so expect a bit of a wait for your food and coffee, especially in the morning. Overall, solid coffee spot with good service.

Philz is possibly the best coffee. There is. Hands down, it's pour over. It's delicious and the people that work there are super nice and everyone is welcome. As far as this location goes, even as busy as it was and as frantic as all of the baristas we're working, they were super friendly and making sure everyone got their coffee and didn't take the wrong one. Kudos team! Can't wait to see you next time.
